We took part in the first Sing Out Loud shows at Wexford Opera House back in 2013, and we’ve returned every year since!  The Sing Out Loud experience is now very well established in the school’s annual calendar.  Participation has become a rite-of-passage for all our senior pupils.  Involvement with Sing Out Loud ties in perfectly with the school’s goal of providing arts-rich education to the children.  For schools considering getting involved for the first time:  don’t hesitate!  The Sing Out Loud team does an outstanding job from start to finish.

Sing Out Loud, the best experience for children, teachers, and families alike. As a teacher in a DEIS school, most of our children have never visited the National Opera House, let alone had the chance to step onto the stage with lights, mics and live music.

Sing Out Loud brings our children joy, it brings fun, and it lifts the spirit of our whole school community. It builds confidence in our children, gives them a love of music and singing and an opportunity to perform in a fun and enjoyable way. It creates wonderful memories of an unforgettable experience for all who participate.

Thank you ‘Sing Out Loud’, we at Scoil Mhuire Coolcotts love it!

Hot Press “Hot for 2023 list”

I first performed on the Sing Out Loud stage as a guest performer at the age of 12 when I was just starting out and it was one of my fondest musical experiences. Eight years later, at the age of 20, I was again asked to perform and jumped at the offer!

It is a joy to work alongside Tony, Maggs, Eric and all the Sing Out Loud crew. To watch hundreds of primary school children enjoy the thrill of performing on such a big stage. Again, I can say it was easily one of my favourite musical experiences to date.

The atmosphere and sense of community both backstage and onstage is so special and lovely to be a part of.

My favourite part was getting to watch the excitement and energy of hundreds of little performers as they make their own special memories of performing on the National Opera House Stage. Sing Out Loud is a show that is very close to my heart, and I was very lucky to briefly be a part of it.

As an S.N.A I can’t sing the praises of “Sing Out Loud” loud enough. It is an incredibly positive, affirming, joyful occasion for all students and adults lucky enough to get involved.

The Sing Out Loud team provides a truly inclusive environment for everyone who attends, accommodating needs and challenges in every way possible, making sure the sheer joy of the night is accessible to all. The benefits for all the students are immeasurable and from the wings you can witness many facing fears and overcoming obstacles in the most exuberant and fun way imaginable. The experience and lessons learned are something the students will take with them long into their futures.

An absolutely outstanding experience for all! Sing Out Loud is a phenomenon and we are truly blessed to have it on our doorstep.

Sing Out Loud – Mo Cheol Thú!!

Our school has been involved with Sing Out Loud for many years now and I can categorically say that it is one of the best, if not the best, program to come into schools in all my years teaching – which is close on 40 years.

In my opinion, Sing Out Loud has brought the joy of singing back into classrooms. It has made singing ‘cool’ again. The students love it and have thoroughly enjoyed the performances.

The backing tracks are a great support for teachers, in particular for those who may not be musically inclined.

The Primary School Curriculum is extensive and sometimes the Arts can fall short, Sing Out Loud ensures that singing and performing are extremely well catered for.

I can’t recommend this program highly enough!!
