About Sing Out Loud
Sing Out Loud is a free programme which creates a safe and inclusive space for children to learn different genres of music and performance, gain confidence, experience teamwork, create lifelong memories and ultimately have the time of their lives!
The journey to the Sing Out Loud stage begins in the classroom with the children’s teachers, assisted by the rehearsal material we provide for both teachers and children culminating in an evening of music, performance and fun for the pupils, teachers and the audience alike.
Sing Out Loud is where memories are made. The entire day is organised to ensure that your pupils get the most from this event from the time they arrive, right until they are safely back in the hands of loved ones at the end of the night. It really is an experience that everyone involved will cherish for years to come.
Sing Out Loud is so much more than a concert. It is an opportunity for every eligible child to perform in a professional concert alongside local and national guest artists and to gain a passion for music, singing and performing. We want the pupils in your school to come together with other schools in their region for one of the performance dates where each night we will have up to 250 pupils singing on stage in front of a live audience with their very own live band.
The Sing Out Loud children are the superstars of the show and the show itself is high quality, fast paced, energetic, vibrant, and engaging for children, teachers, and audiences.
History
It all began when Tony had an idea! After a discussion with Maggs and Eric, the concept of Sing Out Loud was born. Sing Out Loud began in 2012 with the vision to give children the opportunity to fall in love with music. The freedom to be, superstars! Over the years this vision has not changed, but evolved into not just an opportunity to perform, but an all-round theatre experience. The superstars of Sing Out Loud experience everything from the front of house to backstage with everything in between!
For us, giving the gift of music and theatre to the younger generation is a joy and an honour. It is a privilege we have never taken for granted. It is a magical environment which sees children grow in confidence and self-belief, create lifelong memories and most importantly, have the time of their lives!
